Trash Service & Recycling
The Village of Doylestown has contracted trash removal service for all village residents with Republic Waste Services. The scheduled pick-up day for trash begins after 8 a.m. on Friday mornings. Saturday will substitute for pickup during a holiday week.
To begin trash removal services please contact:
Republic Waste Services at 1-800-247-3644.
The current Republic Waste Service rate for Village residents is $9.85 per month. Republic also offers a “Low Volume” user program for residents whose weekly trash output is minimal. To participate, special bags must be purchased at Village Hall in packs of 10 for $18.00. This is a great program for low-use residents, allowing them to fore go monthly billing.
Republic Waste also provides all Village residents the opportunity to get rid of one large trash item a month, on the last Friday of the month. Also, there will be two “Village Wide Cleanups” each year, in April and October. Check the Community Calendar or Channel 15 for large trash pick-up date or call the Village Hall (330) 658-2181 ext. 1102.
All village residents are encouraged to participate in the curbside recycling program whether on the bag system or regular billing system. There are two recycling days provided which fall on the
1st and 3rd Friday of each month. Village residents may use a Village provided bin for recycling or, grocery store plastic bags. Contact Republic Waste for more information. Village bins can be obtained at Village Hall.
