The Village of Doylestown is a thriving, small town community that offers easy access to many of Northeast Ohio 's major metro areas. We are a village with an outstanding school system and many thriving businesses. There are multiple village services offered to our residents provided by a dedicated staff of village employees and government officials.
Community involvement has been a long-stand tradition in Doylestown. There are many civic organizations to choose from including Lions Club, Garden Club, and organizations / services for our seniors. In addition, Doylestown has a successful Baseball Association, youth wrestling, flag football, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts programs.
Memorial Park is a great summer meeting place with picnic pavilions, a playground, basketball and tennis courts. Our Gene Daniel Community Center is an ideal place to hold a wedding reception, class reunion or family get together.
The “Rogues Hollow Festival” is held the first weekend of every August which includes a parade, games, food, fireworks and fun for the entire family.
There are many more interesting and recreational attractions located in Chippewa Township and in nearby communities. We are a short drive to Wooster and the heart of Amish Country. All-in-all, Doylestown is a great place to visit… and an even greater place to live!
