Certainly, the term is the brainchild of some credit card guru in an ivory tower somewhere. Still, the message is equally true right here in small town America . Could you put a price tag on a perfect evening? Where else is the sense of community closer than friends and neighbors gathering for the pure joy of music? Where no effort is required after a long week, but to find a spot for your blanket or lawn chair and offering applause for your approval. This is the joy of coming together at the heart of a community; to experience one of mankind's purest art forms the way it was meant to be enjoyed ---- outside and personal.

For the past several years; Doylestown's Main Street Music at the Bandstand has exceeded its attendance with an exciting and eclectic lineup of first class performers. This year hopes are to surpass this commitment. But as you know, as in all things, the only way to guarantee quality is through the generosity of committed business and individual partners. Your contributions and support are truly the only way to continue this great tradition of free concerts for our community.

Doylestown Performing Arts invites those of you who believe in the power and pleasure of the arts, to become a committed community partner with the Summer Concert Series of Main Street Music at the Bandstand . There are several levels of contribution available as well as sponsorship of a preferred performance. All gifts are tax deductible.

Inspired by this inscription, the Mayor and members of Doylestown Village Council proposed and established a Performing Arts Fund to bring the performance of music to our community. Funded and supported through community contributions, Main Street Music at the Bandstand is a summer concert series with musical performances at the bandstand Friday evenings throughout June and July.
