Trash Program

The Village of Doylestown has contracted trash removal service for all village residents with Rumpke Waste & Recycling Services effective 4/1/19. The scheduled pick-up day for trash and weekly recycling begins after 8 a.m. on Friday mornings. Saturday will substitute for pickup during a holiday week.    

Holidays observed by Rumpke are:  New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.  If the holiday falls on a weekday on or before you Friday, collection will be delayed one day.  If the holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, collection WILL NOT be delayed.  Visit www.rumpke.com for holiday schedules and weather updates.  

To begin trash removal services please contact:

Rumpke Waste & Recycling Services at 1-800-828-8171.  The current Rumpke Waste & Recycling Service rate for Village residents is $14.35 per month billed quarterly. Rumpke also offers a “Low Volume” user program for residents whose weekly trash output is minimal. To participate, special bags must be purchased at Village Hall in packs of 10 for $30.00.  If you are on the bag program and wish to recycle, there will be an additional charge of $4.20 per month for this service.


Rumpke Waste & Recycling Services also provides all Village residents the opportunity to get rid of one large trash item a month, on the last Friday of the month.  Also, there will be two “Village Wide Cleanups” each year, in April and October.

Curbside Recycling

All village residents are encouraged to participate in the curbside recycling program whether on the bag system or regular billing system.  Recycling will be

weekly

. Village residents may use a Village provided bin for recycling. Free village bins can be obtained at Village Hall.
