The Village provides water and sewer service, Ohio Edison provides electric service and they can be reached at 1-800-633-4766. Dominion East Ohio Gas provides gas service and they can be reached at 1-800-362-7557, and telephone service is provided by Doylestown Telephone Company 330-658-2121.
Yes. On August 21, 2013 Council passed Ordinance 2013-18. If you would like to report a violation you must click on the "Report A Concern" tab and then go to Zoning Complaint Forms, then to trash to submit the form online or contact the Zoning Inspector at 330-658-2181 ext. 1111.
Our gas aggregation is through IGS and they can be reached at 1-800-280-4474. Electric aggregation is through Energy Harbor, and they can be reached at 1-866636-3749. Village Hall employees cannot sign you up for these programs. You must contact them directly.
Yes. Every Clerk at Village Hall and the Police Station is a Notary. There is no charge for our services.

This program is offered to children who live in the village or township who are ages 6 -13. The program runs beginning early June through the middle of July. It is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am 12 noon. More information is available on the Summer Recreation page under Community Area.

For a copy of an accident report, please contact Joyce Shaw at 330-658-2181 ext. 1120, or come by the Police Department at 20 S. Portage Street between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
The Doylestown Police Department will not take stray dogs running at large unless the dog is vicious or dangerous. We will investigate and hold individuals accountable for their dogs running at large but we do not have the facilities to house stray dogs. The Doylestown Police Department recommends that you never approach or attempt to apprehend any unfamiliar animals. If you do come across a stray dog contact the Wayne County Dog Warden at 330-262-0152.
Yes. Minors (under the age of 18) Sunday through Thursday 11pm to 5am. Friday and Saturday 12am to 5am.
Yes. Between the hours of 11 pm to 8 am. Offender must be put on notice by a police officer after that officer has observed (heard) the actual offense and has deemed it a violation of 509.09 before criminal action can be taken.
Please come to the Water Department at Village Hall with a current valid ID. You must complete our meter contract in person.

Yes. This service is available and there is a nominal fee of .30 per transaction. Please stop in to the Water Department to sign up for this service. We will need a voided check as well.
